new projects for winter!

It's finally break and I'm back home at last :) I'm going to be busy working on a few projects for Lenny and my Etsy store, so please stay tuned for progress photos! Here's a little hint as to what may be showing up soon:

Flower wreaths! I'm still gathering inspiration and materials and pattern drafting a winter dress for Lenny. Wish me luck! I'm no good with sewing machines :(

flashback not-friday

Lenny might be my only doll but she wasn't my first. I've been in this hobby for roughly four years, since i bought my first doll - a MNF Shushu. I named her Soyeon because I wanted to be true to her country of origin, and it was a pretty cute name at the time. I figured that I couldn't exactly have a blog dedicated to dolls without mentioning her somehow, so I'm leaving some old pictures here. (keep in mind I didn't really know how to handle a camera or where to find cute clothes at the time!) My Shushu is happily living with a new owner now. I wonder what her new name is?

I bought Lenny a few outfits off Taobao not too long ago and I've decided to show them off in my not-quite-inaugural blog post. the manufacturer (cross church) advertised them as mori girl style, and I think they fit in pretty well. I wonder if Lenny's pleased with her current wardrobe...
